"The CASTLE toolkit has been developed so that Tutors and Course managers can create on-line interactive multiple choice questions (MCQs) quickly and easily without any prior knowledge of HTML, cgi, or similar scripting languages. The CASTLE Project was funded by JISC/JTAP. These tools are freely available to HE institutions and they are now part of the Talent project which aims to enhance teaching and learning through the use of web technology."

"TaskMagic allows teachers to quickly and easily create interactive games and exercises for use with interactive whiteboard or PC. One set of inputs from the teacher can generate up to 13 different games automatically. Games can be based on texts, pictures and sounds. There are currently 30 different game formats, including Pool, Invaders, Asteroids, Millionaire, PacMan, GapFill etc. TaskMagic works with any roman-script language. A free trial version is available to download from the website. UpsideTMS is an easy to use, fully web-based solution. The design of the system is very robust and the architecture of the system allows a quick and seamless integration with other IS systems including other LMS, LCMS, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP, or other custom database or system applications. ULAE supports many question types and has an in-built 'Resume from Crash' feature. Most of the reports produced are graphical for easy and quick analysis. The test can be taken in a highly secure or a normal environment."
